Designing and illustrating applications for children's clothing is an unusual job, and I learned special skills at Carter's. In five years, I developed countless groups of rotary prints, embroideries, screen prints and woven labels for playwear for infants, toddlers and children. Each season is based on a cohesive central theme and color palette which hangs on the retail floor together as a cohesive group. My illustration skills improved greatly at Carter's. I learned how to make anything cute, and I've illustrated countless bears - each one different from each other.
