Covid Essentials


Bricks Need Mortar is an organization/community where independent retailers gain skills, access resources and "collaborate." BNM partnered with Tricor Communications and asked me to design a curated group of reopening essentials and signage system for its members as they reopen their businesses. They wanted to create a unified approach for members as a way to bolster community and show support for local businesses - believing that "We are stronger together." I was also tasked with designing a solely Tricor version of the signage system as well.

First, I designed a header for the shop portal focusing on the verbage that would be used on some of the signage. In designing the system for signage, I chose a Bricks Need Mortar brand color for the one color system. Members choose options based on their needs and a one-color logo is added along with the BNM logo. The signs are cohesive as a community and personalized for the individual businesses.

For the Tricor version, I created a header that includes PPE essentials, which are also available at Tricor. I created a 4-up 1-color palette and an option signage system similar to BNM.
